  • GSA meets today at lunch in D5.
  • National Art Honor Society meets today at lunch in C13.
  • Thank you so much to the staff and administration who came to the choir and piano concert last night. Also, a big shout out to Ms. Judy Yocom, one of the most amazing people at Cibola. She is such a gift and helped so much last night.

  • S-Troupe Sleighs the Holidays will take the stage tomorrow at 7:30pm in the PAC.  Get there to see some seriously original, seriously entertaining comedy.

  • If you are done with your eCADEMY online course, you can take your final exam with Mrs. Garcia in B6.

    • Finals must be taken in person in the eCADEMY LAB room B6 with Mrs. Garcia during 5th, 6th, 7th or lunch.

    • If you cannot come during 5th, 6th, 7th, or lunch you may take your final after school Wednesday, Dec. 15 or Thursday, Dec. 16th. You MUST BE IN THE LAB BY 2:40pm!

    • Students needing a final exam after 2:40pm must take the exam at eCADEMY’s main campus located off of San Mateo and I-40, from 3-5pm.

  • Auditions for Grease are on Monday December 6th in room A2. Please come pick up the music in room A4 and see Ms. Novick if you have any questions.

  • Iiiiiitt's Baaaaack.  BATTLE OF THE PADDLE  Cibola's table tennis tournament for students and staff alike.  Channel your inner Forrest Gump and enter.  Student Entry is $5  Staff entry is free.  Winning student will play the winning teacher at lunch.  Tournament starts in January but practice times are available now.  See Coach Carter to enter.  Your destiny awaits you!

  • The library is sponsoring a "Create a bookmark" contest through December 10.  There will be prizes for most creative, most bookish, and best aesthetics.   Stop by the library today!

  • The CHS Guitar Program is proud to present its winter concert Tuesday December 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. This is a free concert and all are welcome to attend

  • Would you like to make a difference in a needy child's life this Christmas season? If so, please donate a new, unwrapped toy between now and next Tuesday to the Toys For Tots Foundation. Collection boxes are located in the main office and the JROTC classroom, P-5. The toys collected will be given to needy children this year for the holiday season.

  • Key Club is holding a Holiday Homeless Shelter drive now through Dec 10th. We will be accepting winter clothes, socks underwear, blankets and hygienic products such as combs, toothbrushes, and soap. Donations can be dropped off in Mrs. Bois’s Room D-4, Ms. Mandell’s room E-1, and Ms. McRoberts room P-22 or the library! Help us help our community.

  • Next week we'll have a Winter Spirit Week...just for fun. 
    • Monday - Ugly Sweater day...if you don't have an ugly sweater, wear a flannel.
    • Tuesday - Awkward Holiday Photo Day - Get your school fam, friends, team, or department to color coordinate and take a group photo at lunch.  We hired a photo booth company to take pics for us.
    • Funsie Onesie Wednesday - Onesies and PJs
    • Thursday - The Grinch Stole My Backpack
    • Friday - Winter White Out - If you ordered a White Out shirt...they should be in on Wednesday.

Cibola Sports Update

  • Boys Wrestling will be at Rio Rancho today and tomorrow competing in the Rio Rancho Southwest Team Duals.
  • Girls wrestling will be at Highland tomorrow.
  • Swim competes in the APS invite tomorrow at the West Mesa Pool starting at 8:30am.
  • Girls basketball plays Hope Christian, here at Cibola, tomorrow at 2:30.
  • Boys basketball plays at Hope Christian, tomorrow at 2:30.

  • The boys basketball team also tips off their season tonight at 7pm.  They play at Eldorado.
