Counseling Department
Welcome to Cibola High School's Counseling Department
We look forward to working with and supporting all students and families at Cibola. The 2022-2023 school year brings change, and one of those changes involves the assignment of students for counseling services. Please see updated contact information in the right column.
If you believe there is a life-threatening emergency, harm to self or other(s), please dial "911" immediately.
Requesting a schedule change
Schedule changes require a special need to make any change. Here is a list of special circumstances that will be accommodated:
- Completion of summer school coursework
- Failed courses from previous semesters
- Changing to a course with a higher degree of difficulty in the same subject area
- Fulfillment of a graduation requirement
- Taking Dual Credit or CEC class
- Not scheduled for seven classes
If a request does not meet any of these special circumstances, a schedule change will not be granted.
REMEMBER: All corrections must be made within the first ten days of the semester. A class dropped after that time results in a "W/F" (withdrawal with the grade of "F") for the course.
